Bedwas YFC was formed during the Second World War, at a time of food shortages and petrol rationing. Brothers Gwyn and Jack Perkins had attended meetings of Caerphilly and District YFC and this gave them the idea to start a club of their own. Little did they know that 79 years later Bedwas YFC would still be a thriving club! Next year Bedwas will be lucky enough to celebrate our 80th anniversary with an ever growing membership. Last year we hosted 50 members from all over South East Wales from Bedwas, Machen, Cardiff, Newport, Blackwood and Cwmbran. If you’re looking for a club to have fun, learn new skills and make everlasting friends and memories then Bedwas YFC is the club for you!
